Leamy Hall, named after Rear Admiral Frank Leamy, reopened after extensive renovations to the original 1969 building. Located on the campus of the United States Coast Guard, Leamy Hall is also home of the United States Coast Guard Band. Akustiks oversaw an extensive transformation of the hall including acoustical renovations to both audience and stage areas as well as audio video system upgrades. One of the first events in the hall after its reopening was the Academy’s spring 2011 graduation ceremony that featured a commencement address by President Barack Obama.
