Las Vegas now has a world-class performing arts center with the opening of the Smith Center for the Performing Arts. The Center has three performance spaces including a state-of-the-art 2,050-seat multi-purpose hall, a 150-seat studio theater and a 200-seat cabaret theater. The large theater will present first run Broadway shows and other major touring attractions as well as orchestral, opera and dance performances. Two studio spaces will provide flexible space for small-scale performances, cabaret and rehearsal purposes. Akustiks collaborated with its design partners to create rooms that are intimate and comfortable to audiences while insuring a high quality aesthetic and acoustic character. The Smith Center opened in March 2012.

– Nathan Tannenbaum, writer for The Las Vegas Review Journal
