The Anthem is a premiere live music and concert destination in the heart of the new District Wharf in Washington, D.C. The Anthem is a new type of flexible venue that can hold between 2,500 to 6,000 people for concerts, seminars, galas and other special events. Akustiks collaborated with Rockwell Group and Perkins Eastman to develop a concert venue for IMP to bring entertainment’s hottest performers to the Capitol City in an intimate setting. Akustiks provided the room acoustic design and worked collaboratively with the residential building acoustical consultant, Cerami Associates, to develop extensive sound isolation measures to fully isolate the concert venue from residential units located directly adjacent the venue. The Anthem opened October 12, 2017.
