Suzanne Roberts Theatre

Akustiks completed a new 365-seat drama theatre (with provisions for a future 80-seat black box theatre/rehearsal hall) for the Philadelphia Theatre Company, which specializes in presenting work by contemporary American playwrights.  The firm’s challenges included recreating the intimate acoustics of the company’s existing space, Plays & Players Theatre, as well as isolating the spaces from busy Broad Street and the Broad Street subway.
