The Saenger Theatre opened on February 4, 1927. The 4,000-seat atmospheric theater was damaged during hurricane Katrina and was given a comprehensive restoration. The theater features a 2,000-pipe Robert Morton theater organ, installed at the theater’s original opening. The renovated facility accommodates music, dance, theatre, and touring entertainment products.
