La Brea Tar Pits and Museum

Akustiks is part of the team conducting a thorough renovation of the existing museum and has also developed designs for a major expansion that will ultimately nearly double the size of the museum as part of a future phase. One key aspect of the renovation is revamping the existing orientation theater with the goal of enhancing its technological capabilities to provide a value-added experience for the visitor that will generate additional ticket revenue for the museum.
