Boston Opera House

Originally built by B. F. Keith as a movie palace, the Boston Opera House is best known as the home of legendary conductor Sarah Caldwell’s Boston Opera Company. Akustiks oversaw the acoustical aspects of a major renovation that restored historic interior spaces and added a new stage house configured to accommodate Broadway tours. The theater reopened at a gala performance in July 2004 and in 2012 hosted the touring production of ”South Pacific”.
